Good Evening CFBJJ Family, We are excited to have Kick Boxing World Champion, Francis Farley teaching a seminar at the Watsonville dojo on Saturday December 5th. Friendly reminder, today Wednesday 5/20/2020 Professor Ramiro Camacho will be hosting Kids BJJ sessions starting at 5pm PT and Adult BJJ sessions starting at 6pm PT.... Zoom sessions are for all current Claudio França members! For today's BJJ sessions please come wearing your Gi. Please also have ready: a good space to tumble, a broom stick, and a pillow/BJJ dummy/or available family member. We will be reviewing lessons from last week (single leg & choke from side control). We are excited to announce the return of our Lil Jaguars class. The first day of this class will start on WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 11th. This class will feature students in the age range from 4 years old to 6 years old. This class will begin at 3:10pm and end at 4:00 pm. After the first class on the 11th, this class will repeat on Monday and Wednesday moving forward. If you have any questions please refer to the schedule attached to this email or please feel free to contact us at the information below. We are very thankful for all of the new students that have signed up and we are excited for a bright future at CFBJJ Watsonville. We are excited to open back up for classes today. We will have Kids BJJ from 4-5p. Kids Striking will be from 5-6pm, adult striking from 6-7pm and adult bjj to finish from 7-8:30pm. We hope to see all of you here. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Good Afternoon CFBJJ Watsonville Family, After looking at the AQI today we feel it would not be in the safe interest of our students to open the gym today. We apologize for the inconvenience that that this may cause but we must think about the safety of all of our students. We understand that the air quality is improving and will do more evaluating on the matter to discern whether we will open or not tomorrow. As we are keeping a close eye on the fires to the north we hope that you all are staying as safe and as healthy as possible. We hope to see you all soon.

Good Afternoon CFBJJ Family, At this current time, given the poor air quality within Santa Cruz County, it would be best if we closed the dojo for the weekend. Classes will be suspended today through Saturday. We will monitor the situation closely and will make a decision whether to open up again on Monday. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause at this point but we felt that this was the safest option within the given circumstances. All Watsonville Claudio Franca BJJ Students! We will be opening the gym soon (NOT FRIDAY). We are preparing the facility and training the staff for all the guidelines mandatory. Claudio Franca BJJ Headquarters in Santa Cruz is opening tomorrow morning (Friday June 12) for their first class back and we want to ALERT all of our students that the Santa Cruz school is ONLY available to students that are enrolled in Santa Cruz for the safety and precautions to maintain the required social distancing and respect to the students from Santa Cruz.
