It’s so true....
Spare a thought please for my friend and your amazing Associate Head Coach, Scott Bracken, who had a pretty major surgery on Wednesday. He’s recovering really well and the prognosis is great. Still a big deal though. Reach out to wish him well and also spare a thought for his poor wife Kim Bracken who’s already having to tell him to throttle back . He even wanted to coach Sunday at EIRA with Salty Thompson. Too funny. Bracken does what Bracken does. Heal up buddy, camp starts in five weeks.

Watch this space. With the lack of play due to COVID we have worked with several former players to establish a Lions All-Star roster for the 2015-20 era. The team will be announced shortly and is formidable. We will also be announcing an All-Time Dragons side (prior brand) to compare and contrast, with many of the 2010 DII National Championship team included. It will be fun and should lead to some healthy debate. Go Lions and Dragons.
On Thursday the Gold Coast Conference Coaches announced the All-Conference selections from the abbreviated 2020 season. Deservedly your Lions earned 8 of the 23 spots after another successful conference season with big wins against very good Long Beach State and Arizona State sides. Lions roll. Congratulations to the following players 3 Frankie Rayis... 4 Zach Heffernan 6 Connor Lehner 7 Chance Sears 13 Conner Pederson 16 Michael Porter 17 Jack LeVier 23 Matthew Grundlingh In addition Abraham Asante and Sam Ness were 2nd team All-Conference and Chance Sears was rightfully named MVP of the Forwards, just beating out Frankie for the top spot. It’s great recognition for those student athletes and could have been more if all had stayed healthy. Well done to all.
Happy 4th July to all in the Lions Family. God Bless you all and God Bless America.
A very happy birthday to our stud Coach Scott Bracken. God bless you and your family. Happy 4th July also.
Keep your head in the game in spite of the circumstances we face. Stay well men.
Deserves some thought before an appropriate response follows.
To all those amazing men out there who have raised incredible young men we thank you. Thank you for letting us borrow them for a few years. Have a great Father’s Day all.
One of only 5 Lionheart Award Winners 2020. Well deserved.

Let’s congratulate the Class of 2020. It’s not the commencement you expected, or deserve, but it’s sadly reality. The lack of a ceremony does nothing to undermine the amazing accomplishments that this special group achieved in their four years on campus. You will be missed. Lions for life. Go with God men. Grab your forks. The best is yet to come!... Conner PedersonFrankie RayisJack LeVierLukas Svitek@connorlehner@abrahamasante
