Coming to the shop today some great holiday paint colors from Dixie Belle..

So today I applied a antique white stain to the bench and wiped it off to give it a white wash effect. When it dried I sanded it so the wood grain would show. What do you think? I was going for a beachy weathered look.

Working on a new project, this is a handcrafted bench I bought last Fall and it's getting a makeover. First step was sanding, second step was painting and the third step will be a white stain. Paint color is Dixie Belle Antebellum Blue. I'll finish with the white stain on Monday. Stay tuned!

My latest project almost done. I used Dixie Belle Hurricane Gray and Coffee Bean. One more coat on the table top and then a protective coat of Dixie Belle Gator Hide. I love their products!

Just a heads up to my customers, my shop is now my garage. Cottage Charm in Murrieta is not open for business until the city oks it. I'm selling Dixie Belle and some furniture from my home, porch pick up. I have items for sale on FB MARKETPLACE. I will deliver locally.

I brought a whole box of vintage sheet music to Cottage Charm today. I can't read music but I sure love the covers. They would be beautiful framed.

I love setting up my china cabinet for Christmas! All the ceramic pieces are vintage and the wood pieces I bought in Austria. They were handmade and signed by the artist.

Here's before and after photos of a piece I just finished, its an antique cabinet used for storing sheet music. I used Dixie Caviar, Gold Gilding Wax, Clear Wax.
