Embedded in a sidewalk on 4th Street in front of the former Siskiyou County Title Company is a compass rose that is easy to miss unless you spot the metalwork reflecting in certain light. It's not a large compass rose but still has a presence in front of the brick building. The compass rose's arrow is pointing due north. #ThrowbackThursday

Located at the corner of Lane and S Broadway Streets is a drinking fountain that contains a dated plaque in the front that mentions the fountain as being donated by the Yreka Garden Club and M. & M. Masonry on December 31, 1969. #ThrowbackThursday
