Our God is faithful and He will provide what we need...

Getting ready to share at the Apartments today. Looking forward to everything opening up so we don’t have to just drop off food. Thankful we can share but missing the people.

Here is a picture of the brothers we are blessed to have oversee the Recuperative Care House. We were excited that today a Professor and three of his nursing students, from Grossmont College came to serve the guys recuperating with us. They will be coming in a rotation two days a week for a month. We are so grateful for them to come alongside and educate and serve.

Praying for the Firefighters and all those affected by the fires here in California.

As you know we have a Recuperative Care House and the men we have are men that are homeless and have been in the hospital. They still need to recuperate so they come to us. So many of them have nothing with them so we are always in need of men’s clothing. We need all sizes, right now we are in need of size 44 pants and xlarge shirts. If anyone has some clean nice clothes they would like to donate please contact us. Thank you

Thank you all for praying for one of guys we shared about from the Recuperative Care Home. He did have a stroke and so now he will be put into a skilled nursing home. His stroke was pretty severe. We are sorry he wasn’t able to move into his own place. We were able to help him get his Birth Certificate and I.D. and bank card. Even though he was really unable to care for himself, he was looking forward to having his own place. He is a nice guy and the rest of the guys at the house miss him. And we pray he will recover.

Morning prayers... And asking for prayers for one of the men here with us. He had to be taken to the hospital as he had a major stroke last night. Please pray for his recovery. And he is already in a wheelchair because of neurological problems. Blessed in knowing our God sees and hears.

Well we had to move again. As the guys at Recuperative Care House said Thursday-night, this is the last supper. So Friday we moved to a new house, since at times we have a lot of guys to care for we need lots of bedrooms. The houses we have rented have been in the College area and they usually have a 1 year lease for students, with the following year rent much higher. We are blessed that the new house we got is nicer with a longer lease and rent almost the same. So we can settle down. We pray God blesses this house and all who come through the doors will be shown His love and we can help them move forward. And of course there are lots of ups and downs.
