#ConstructionUpdate Take a peek at the progress of the Traffic Calming & Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project at Pine Ave & Eardley Ave! This project will enhance pedestrian safety by constructing a pedestrian refuge area, shortening crossing distances, and slowing traffic! To date, crews have constructed 3 curb ramp bulb-outs, 3 drain inlets, and 100ft of the sidewalk! Construction of the center median (pictured below ) is nearing completion. Yesterday, the California Governor announced the statewide launch of CA Notify, a new digital tool that will help reduce transmission of #COVID19. Starting 12/10, Californians can opt-in to receive COVID-19 notifications informing them if they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for the virus.
