LA County Holiday Home Test Collection is a partnership with Fulgent Genetics that allows you to sign up to have a COVID-19 test shipped to your home. This is the same test offered at the county’s drive-up or walk-up community testing sites. The sample is collected using a nasal swab and the test looks for the virus. There will be no-cost to you between December 1, 2020 and January 15, 2021 after January 15th, the County may no longer ensure payment for the test. Although ...there is no cost to you, LA County asks that you enter your insurance information so they can make this test available for as many people as possible. You do NOT need insurance to get a test. After you sign up on the website (https://bit.ly/3a6L2nF), Fulgent Genetics will ship you a test via FedEx to your home address within two days. Please note, they will not be able to ship to P.O. boxes. Once you submit your home test, you will receive your result within 48 hours. As you wait to receive your test, please be sure to STAY AT HOME, avoid contact with others, wear a mask, and wash your hands often. If you want to participate in the LA County Holiday Home Test Collection, you MUST meet one of the following criteria: Have symptoms of COVID-19 Were in close contact with someone who has or is suspected of having COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks Are a senior or person with a disability who feel they were exposed to COVID-19, and is unable to go to a testing site See full details and more information on LA County's Holiday Home Test Collection website: https://bit.ly/3a6L2nF
