Did you know we are offering both voice on Saturdays AND ukulele classes on Fridays with Ms. Lorelei? It’s not too late to register here: https://chms.wufoo.com//city-heights-music-school-fall-se/ If you love karaoke but also want to improve your voice, her voice classes that also teach basic music theory tailored to singers will help you become a well-rounded performer! If you’re looking for a way to accompany yourself or make an instrumental cover of your favorite s...ongs, Ms. Lori’s ukulele classes teach chords and simple melodies to get you on your way to rockin’ out to the songs you love. Lorelei Isidro-Garner is an accomplished vocalist, as well as a proficient pianist and ukulele player. She studied Voice Performance at SDSU School of Music and Dance and worked in a classroom setting teaching music enrichment programs for over 20 years. Lorelei was a church organist for 8 years and is currently a Music Coordinator and Choir Conductor at Unitarian Universalists of the South Bay, as well as a Music Enrichment Teacher at Hickman Elementary School and a private instructor for voice, piano, and ukulele. Lorelei is not only a Teacher and Music Program Director but also a composer and creator of the ZipZapZoogle Music Enrichment Program. She occasionally performs locally around San Diego with her Gypsy Jazz Trio, The Garners. Lorelei was born in Hawaii and lives in San Diego. In addition to music, she enjoys nature hiking, art, cooking, courageous conversation, and dance. See more

Our CHMS Senior Ensemble has been working hard, independently, all summer!
