It's a Great Day for Oakland Parks and Recreation. We had a wonderful opening day at our NEW indoor water slide in the hood not in the hills. But together by a lot of people but Council President Mr. Larry Reid put together a wonderful dream..not just for him but for the Oakland community, East Oakland, the kids and you. Thanks bruh...keep up the good work.

Today is National Parks and Recreation Day;and the kids of Oakland our at City Hall having a GREAT time. We have face painting, jumpers, food, rides, petting zoo, games, golf,etc. I just wanted to report the positive in Oakland because if you let people who don't live in Oakland who see Oakland on the news. They can't tell the true story and see the smiling faces on our FUTURE.These "KIDS". Great job Audree V.

The Oakland Neighborhood Basketball League (O.N.B.L.), 45th year of play provides boys and girls between the ages of 8 through 18 with the opportunity to participate in competitive basketball leagues.
