La Mesa Renters: The La Mesa Rental Assistance Program has been extended and Home Start will continue to accept applications on a rolling-basis, until funds are exhausted. Eligible applications will be reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure that all voters have access to in-person voting opportunities, polling locations will be open from Saturday, October 31, through Monday, November 2, 2020, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and on election day Tuesday, November 3, 2020, from 7:00AM to 8:00PM. La Mesa has four (4) ‘Super Polls’ to serve voters: - La Mesa Arts Academy, 4200 Parks Ave, 91941... - La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center, 8450 La Mesa Blvd, 91942 - Parkway Middle School, 9009 Park Plaza Dr, 91942 - Rolando Elementary School, 6925 Tower St, 91942 In addition, all County Library branches, including La Mesa, will serve as official mail ballot drop-off locations from October 6 through November 3. City Council Regular Meeting - October 27, 2020

REMINDER: Community Conversation event tomorrow at 6pm! Families are invited to share their experiences on topics such as coping with distance learning, social isolation, returning to the classroom, and how recent health policies have impacted your daily lives.

If you are looking to get a flu shot, visit one of these FREE locations below! The closest clinic to La Mesa will be at the East Public Health Center on October 29, from 10AM to 4PM. These clinics are provided by Live Well San Diego.

The La Mesa Police Department will resume parking enforcement starting November 9. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted signage when looking for a parking space.
