Happy last day of of 2020. As we reflect on this year, we remember all that we’ve been through and try not to label them as good or bad, but count them as part of life and business. Some noteable events for Churn this year: - Valentine’s Day with @juna_alinea’s magical floral arrangements -Covid closed us down for the first SIP order on Mar 14, 2020. - PIVOT: We reopened 2 weeks later without any of the employees. We pivoted to a Marketplace option, online ordering system, an...d curbside/doorside pickup. - PIVOT: We brought the staff back and started the Farm Bags for Healthcare Heroes and Farm Bags for Justice initiatives. This helped feed frontline workers and clients of Black Infant Health while helping stabilize income for our local farmer friends. - PIVOT: we added an outdoor parklet, yea! -PIVOT: We expanded the baking program as we brought Farmers Markets back to our business model. Because of this we were able to bring our Mobile operation back online. -PIVOT: Thanksgiving and Christmas sets and preorders became a fun and profitable new marketing campaign for us. Led by new team members, a talented all female team, each one came on board in 2020. What is typically a very quiet time for Churn, became lively and full of promise for the future. Thank you thank you thank you. To our customers, new and old who worried and supported us. Our vendors and farmers who we commiserated with and held us down. Our staff members, who worked with grace through each and every pivot and challenge. So grateful for this community. If we can do this, we can do anything.

Last chance for our newest cookie craze Dumpster Fire 2020 cookies this year at the @cityofbrisbaneca Farmer’s Market. We’ll have our ice cream pints and quarts as well. We’ll be there til 6! We’ll be hibernating for the next 3 weeks week. So we hope to see you there!

Merry Christmas from our family to you. The Churn fam was supposed to be in the Philippines this year, but Covid. Luckily we were able to bring the Philippines to us with @kalsadacoffee via @andytownsf. We were able to share that with some of you through our Filipino Christmas Bundle. Hi all! Happy Monday. We’ve closed our Christmas preorders. And are looking forward to pickups on Wed and Thurs. We’re also working on easy pickup Holiday Cookie Boxes. Along with our usual cookie offerings, we’ll have this new cookie called Dumpster Fire 2020. ... It’s filled with all kinds of random fillings: pretzels, cornflake, espresso, chocolate chips, and burnt sugar chips. It was made with the spirit of 2020, and how it threw a whole bunch of shit at us. It’ll be here for you to purchase during our pickup times: Wed 3-5pm; Thurs 3-5pm.
