We have churches, temples, pagodas and mosques we worship in. We have 12 step meetings we participate in. But some people do not have a home. You see them all over. They are our homeless. Hello everyone and happy Thursday. Here is today's thought. STUFF. Years ago, I was contemplating being called to serve God as a monk. I was sitting on my living room couch looking at all the wonderful things (stuff) I had accumulated over the years. It was stuff, some of it real nice, but still, just stuff. I realized that having treasures were really gifts from God and that it really didn't matter in the long run because I couldn't take it with me if God needed me to move ...on. What really matters is not the stuff that we have; a nice house, a fancy car, great furnishings. What matters is being freed from attaining more and more stuff and turning our focus on what really counts, loving and serving God and our neighbors.
