As we start this new year, we are also starting a new series going through the book of Genesis called "In the Beginning... Jesus." Our aim, as we walk through this book, is to point out God's plan from the beginning to make a way to Himself for our redemption through the person and work of Jesus. Hope to see you all digitally! https://www.youtube.com/watch

This week’s sermon was about confession, an often uncomfortable topic for many of us. For some, we think of priests and booths; for others, it’s a christianese word that holds little value. Yet, when we back up, confession is an amazing, powerful, and freeing aspect in our relationship with God. . . To hear the full sermon check us out on YouTube at Church of the Valley Santa Clara. Love you guys! .... . #cov #confession #santaclara #sermon See more

We started our new series "Back 2 Basics" this morning, and we wanted to share this message with you: The Gospel. It's more than the 4 books in the beginning of the New Testament. It's more than our response and reaction to it. The Gospel has everything to do with who Jesus was and is and the way He came, conquered death, rose again, invites us into relationship with Him, and continues to grow, love, and care for us every step of the way. Hope this sermon encourages you all!

Hey Church family, I’m walking around the worship center this morning between phone call meetings and praying for you. I miss meeting together in this room, I miss the high fives, hugs, amens, times of worship, takeaways, greetings, preludes, postludes, after service lunches, watching kids not want to leave their classes. I miss praying with you in person, I miss hearing what God is teaching you in person, I miss the way that the building creaks while we would be still. I wri...te all of this to tell you that I miss you! But I’m also grateful that we still get to enjoy one another through our YouTube playlist each week, community groups , takeaway calls and personal connection via social distancing and/or zoom/FaceTime/webex/google groups. I’m also praising God for clearer air and mist outside. I don’t use social media often, but decided I wanted to let you know how much I love you, and more importantly how much God loves you. May the Good news of Jesus be on your heart, mind and lips today. Hope to see you Sunday on our zoom takeaway call, we’ll also be participating in communion together! - Tim Reilly #churchofthevalley #santaclara #cov
