Did you know that our programs, camps, and classes are not just for kids? All ages can enjoy the journey of creativity offered by our amazing teaching artists. This note from a recent adult who participated in our virtual Comic Book Camp at the end of September sums it up nicely: "Hi Ben, Lee & Naylene, "Thank you for the comic book, t-shirt and especially the hand drawn Bugs and Elmer from What’s Opera Doc. Creative Outlets--Needed Now More Than Ever!

For last months comic book camp, the campers and the teaching artist created a 16 page comic book. We had it printed and it was their gift for joining us for the week. Here’s an inside peek at some of the pages. This months camp features Ink month Haunted House. Space is still available, visit Chuckjonescenter.org/programs to sign up today. it runs from Monday the 26th through Friday the 30th at 2:30 PM PDT. Campers will be working toward creating their very own collaborative haunted house fine art print.

Happy 108th birthday, Chuck Jones!

We are pleased to be providing a virtual Comic Book Camp! Join us the last week of September for an exploration of character development and storytelling taught with Chuck’s own techniques. Our teaching artists, Naylene, Lee, and Ben will guide students through the process of creating their very own collaborative comic book. Activities include creating and writing our story; sketching out the action in panels, adding ink & color; polishing the final art and dialogue plus prod...ucing the final product. Each participant will receive a copy of the final comic book produced for this camp, official Chuck Jones Big Draw Bat Suit Wile E Coyote Comic Con T-shirt, and custom drawing of a looney tunes character of their choice by one of our instructors. This camp is sure to have something for every young aspiring comic book creator! This week long Chuck Jones Center for Creativity virtual camp takes place on Zoom, September 21 through September 25, from 2:30 PM PDT to 3:30 PM PDT.
