BEST OF SHOW on the 2009 Merlot!

Today the City of Encintas Planning Commision approved the Winery with a 5-0 vote. We had a lot of support and there were no real issues with what we were proposing. Capped off the evening amongst friends drinking wine and celebrating. : ) Look forward to seeing everyone soon in the new facility!

The City of Encinitas has confirmed that our Planning Commision hearing is going to be November 17th. If it is approved we should be breaking ground by the end of January and will be open in June! Please let me know if you are interested in attending the hearing as the more people that speak in the winery's behalf the better chance it will be approved.

Here is a great angle of the winery that we have proposed to the city of Encinitas. Grand opening should be in about a year! The winery will have a demonstration vineyard, restaurant,cheese shop, fire pit, and most importantly - lots of delicious wine!

Getting excited to bottle some new wines this summer. Some of my favorites to be bottled are a delicious Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, a juicy Malbec, and a monstruos Merlot.
