COVID-19 restrictions require the Basketball Awards Picnic to be postponed-Date TBD.

Dear Basketball Families~ We just received word from Murrieta that the church facility has now closed to all events which cancels Saturday's games for the JV Boys. Once again, we are sorry for the news and may the Lord give everyone peace about all that He ordains. We hope to be able to communicate some good news next week regarding the Awards Picnic. Dear Basketball Families~ We regret to share the news that the gyms which were rented for the March Gladness Tournament have cancelled all events due to the COVID-19 virus restrictions and we are therefore unable to host our basketball tournament. Your March Gladness Leadership Team has been working diligently this week to talk with the other programs and be sure they would continue to participate, but when the gyms cancelled our usage, we had no choice but to cancel the eve...nt. We all share this disappointment with you. Right now, use of Riley Gym for tonight's games was also cancelled. We are waiting to hear from Murrieta today to see if games scheduled for Saturday are still in play or not. Since we no longer have the use of our practice facility, the basketball season is essentially over. However, we are working now on finding a location where we could host our annual CHS Basketball Awards picnic on Saturday, March 28. Please pray with us that a park location will be available that day. If not, we will postpone the date, and let you know when it can happen. Anyone who ordered a March Gladness t-shirt will receive it at the picnic. Lastly, if your sponsors ask, we will be happy to honor their commitments by putting their company logos on our website as planned. We are working on getting that done today. As of now, our upcoming Spring Sports season is on hold until we receive word from the school district that the facilities are available for use again. We will let you know just as soon as we know. These are very different times to be sure. We trust that as Christian homeschoolers we are all able to see that God is at work and that we are mindful that He is worthy of our trust in the midst of it all. We pray for God's protection over all of you and if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. Because of the 100% forecast for rain on Tuesday, we are postponing the Tournament Parent Meeting to Tuesday, March 17 at 6pm, and the following practice schedule will be in place for Tuesday's practice: 6:00-8:00 Girls varsity and JV 7:00-8:00 Boys varsity and JV... 10u, 12B and FB unfortunately will not practice.
