As we know, many areas of the Bahamas suffered devastating destruction from the recent hurricane Dorian. Our community prayers appealed to our Lord for his loving and protective hand; thanks be to our Lord - our brothers and sisters are safe. CBMC brothers have maintained constant contact with several members and we are now able to advise that all who experienced loss or displacement are safe and receiving necessary support. Sister Penny, in Nassau, not damaged by the storm, ...has kept us informed about members: Sis Vaulda stayed with a niece to avoid flooding; Bro George was safe in hospital recuperating; Bro Kemraj and Sis Chandra are now in the U.S., moved by their family; Sis Lee is safe, staying with her daughter and Bro Kendris is safe and well. We thank our Lord for his goodness and love! CBMC will reach out and offer material help to those who need it some flooding and roof damage, accommodation costs, etc. If you could share this information with those around you , it would be most appreciated.
