We know many mortgage lenders recently made some major changes on their GNMA loans (FHA,VA, USDA). Most of whom seemed to increase their minimum credit score requirements...some at 640 min and even seen some as high as 680. However, here at Commerce Home Mortgage we are still originating and locking loans all the way down to a 500 credit score. We would need a Desktop Underwriter (DU) Approval in order to proceed though.
