We just received a shipment colors, sizes and styles from Chico's own: Klean Kanteen. Come and check them out.

If you need them, we have them. They are required in the National Parks. We also rent bear canisters.

The temporary backcountry camping closure is now expanded due to multiple incidents of one or more black bears obtaining food from backpackers. The closure incl...udes the area east of Hat Creek, the park highway, and Kings Creek. The closure does not include developed campgrounds. Hiking and stock use is still permitted in the closure area, however users should be bear aware. Since the bear(s) are seeking human food, be especially vigilant in keep your pack within arm's reach at all times. Although the eastern portion of Lassen Volcanic National Park has some issues with bears, Sifford Lakes hike is safe and simply breathtaking. http://www.chicohiking.org/HighCountry/Sifford-Lakes.htm
