Do you need to see some pictures of adorable dogs to brighten up your day? Of course you do! Let’s start with these pics of perfect pooches!
Happy rainy day Monday to all the dog lovers out there. May your muddy dogs be happy dogs. Woof! #thecanineconnection #chicocanineconnection #belikerudy
Love the dog you’re with!
No, you are not seeing triple! It’s Liem, Lucas, and Holly, the three musketeers from dog daycare @chicocanineconnection today! #wecallitplaycare #chicocanineconnection #thecanineconnection #woof
Our final Halloween photo is of our beautiful foster girl, Annie Bear. She really is more angel than devil, and she really needs the perfect forever home. The link below will take you to a posting about her. If you are interested in learning more, be sure to read the Whole Dog Journal blog at the bottom of the post too! There is so much more to say about her, we love her so much, and because of that we are seeking the very perfect spot for her to land. Importantly, this gal can't live with other dogs or cats. But she loves people! And she really isn't all the devilish, but she sure dressed up well as one for Halloween. Woof! https://homewardboundgoldens.org/available-/annie-bear.html
May all your New Year’s resolutions be realized.
Oh my, while doing a Facebook search for some Walk Woof Wag posts I just came across these sad photos of Rudy, posted online by someone when he was at the Camp Fire emergency shelter. I had not seen these before. Look how sad my boy looks!!! What a mess he was... horrible skin condition, foot injury, singed ears from the fire, severe separation anxiety, broken teeth (probably from the sep anx). And no one ever stepped forward to claim him after the fire. He has come so very f...ar and I feel so fortunate that he is with me now. I owe so much to all the other volunteers who also helped him and all the other animals and to Chico Animal Shelter who advocated for keeping the unclaimed dogs in the local area (when Butte County was ready to disperse them all over the state). The last two photos are of Rudy in his new life with me. This dog has been a challenge, to say the least, but I love him to the moon and back. If you want to donate to the Walk Woof Wag fund that helped support this medical care until the time I adopted him, please follow this link. Our fundraiser this year for Chico Animal Shelter's medical fund was virtual, small and modest, but the need to help animals remains since CAS' medical fund is entirely donation dependent: https://nvcf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create?funit_id=1996 See more
