Happy Halloween Eve! We decided to dress up 2 days in a row because why not! Halloween lands on a Saturday this year which means 2 days of Halloween to us here at Chico Animal Hospital.

Junior is no amateur when it comes to vet visits. We first met JJ when he broke his leg, but now he's taken to eating things he shouldn't just so he can visit us or at least that's how we like to look at it! Thank you Martha for the hilarious photos!

This year the staff decided to do a haunted house decorating competition since we can't scare - I mean share - our Halloween spirit with clients indoors. We ask YOU to vote for the haunted house you like most! Vote by "liking" OR commenting on the house of your choice.

These are some very lucky pups! Their mom rushed them in when she found they had gotten into her Vitamin D bottle. While vitamins can be great for humans, they can be very toxic to dogs and other animals. All her dogs are doing great now. Hopefully they have learned their lesson not to steal mom's things. Remember to keep your medications and supplements in a spot where your pets can't get to them!

There's nothing like a Nerf war at home with the kids.. Until your dog eats the foam balls! One ball was removed surgically, while the second one graciously given to us by the patient in a stool sample. The pup who ingested these is doing great now
