2020 Chickens’ Ball Live Stream is CANCELLED Chickens’ Ball gatherings are cancelled today and until further notice. Situations and directives have continued to change. Since we are a group of over 50 people with individuals in high risk categories, we are required by the San Mateo County Health Department and the San Carlos School District to no longer meet as a group. ... We are heartbroken to report our repeated attempts to salvage our performance did not work in this evolving, unprecedented situation. As show organizers we have a responsibility to protect our cast, crew and Chickens’ Ball community. As performers and stage crew, we have a strong desire to give our community a great show, this current environment is not supportive of that right now.

Here is a "Rose and a Thorn" (Good news/bad news) Rose: Great news! The Chickens' Ball Cast, Crew, Steering Committee and community supporters raised important funds for the San Carlos Schools! Rose: Our Chickens' Ball Community - In the words of our 2020 General Chair Mona Klein "For the past 80 years, the goals of the Chickens' Ball have been to raise funds for the San Carlos Schools and to promote community fellowship. We achieved these goals because all of you stepped... forward to produce and perform the 41st Chickens' Ball. We are grateful for all of you who made an important contribution, including Production Chair Karen Krueger Althoff and her crew, the Steering Committee, and all committee chairs and volunteers." Thorn: Due to the San Mateo County Health Officer's order of no large group gatherings on school grounds in 2020-2021, our next possible chance to perform will be in Spring 2022. Stay Healthy, stay strong.... until we sing and dance again with our strong community spirit in support of our local schools.
