ALERT: RECALL UPDATE: Blumen Hand Sanitizer Acorn East, our vendor supplier for Blumen Hand Sanitizer, alerted us that manufacturer 4e Brands is voluntarily recalling some of their hand sanitizer products. At this time, we stopped all sales and removed the product from our shelves. We’ve learned that the affected lots of recalled products have been expanded and now include some of our SKUs. We are working with Acorn East and 4e Brands to share information on their recall... process. What has been shared with us is that this product has NOT BEEN MADE with methanol but had been processed in a plant that has made OTHER products that include methanol and has tested positive with cross contamination. 4e Brands has contracted with Stericycle to set up a call center and oversee the recall process. They’ve published a national hotline (888.843.0254) for consumers to help identify the affected product. Before accepting the return of any product, we will need to validate that the UPC and Lot numbers are part of the recall and ensure the product was sold through us. Only the affected lots are eligible for a refund or replacement. Some of the product we had on the shelf a few months ago are not part of the recall notification. Oh hey.....did we tell you yet THE NURSERY IS DONE! THE NURSERY IS DONE! Come check us out and give us hints of things we can carry to better cater to our locals. Food is on order but there is a national shortage, so we have lots of those plants coming when we can, and fruit trees too.

Propane! Chet's Hardware is now a resource for BBQ propane exchange in town. Exchange fees are $39.99 per cylinder. New cylinders (full) are $79.99. The triangle shaped hand wheel valves are the ones we can exchange as long as the cylinder is in good condition. The round hand wheel or cylinders that are rusted and not in good condition are considered exchanged as new. We hope this helps to provide another additional resource to our Island residents.

We will have 12 of these gallons of 70% alcohol sanitizer on Thursday. $44.99 each. Please comment if you would like us to hold one aside for you. Wanting to make sure the re-opening businesses have the supplies they need. Will also have one case of Lysol clean crisp spray Thursday as well.
