Here's a snippet from a recent Zoom call with the Cherry Tarts hoopskate troupe: We warmed up with one of Deanne Love's free videos, free-styled to our performance song for the now-postponed celebration of Golden Gate Park's 150th anniversary, taught each other hoop moves, stretched, and worked on inversions. Tonight, some friends and I pilot-tested an online format for hoop jam! Stay tuned for future sessions, which will be offered for free, to help us all stay connected and moving while we are practicing social distancing. We are all in this together, separately. <3

After much consideration, I have decided to cancel this week's Hoop + Skate jams. Although ours is not a large gathering, I have decided to follow the City of San Francisco's guidelines to temporarily suspend non-essential group events to help slow the spread of coronavirus.
