White Swan

Here’s a quick in-progress video of a kinda big project I’ve been working on here on the Swan. The LPG locker has been on my list of things to do but quite frankly I never thing of it unless I’m in there for the monthly inspection or grabbing out a tank to refill which only happens every 3 or 4 months. I decided to replace all of the 1984 components with new, even though they all worked. Technology has improved plus I just like things with gauges. Both tanks are due for recertification and I’m doing that now as well but one tank at a time so I can still cook. It’ll be done this Friday and I’ll install it next to it’s brother and the project will be finished!

I had a bilge pimp switch go bad so I decided to build a new switch tree. The bottom one is the main bilge pump switch, the next level has the auxiliary bilge pump switch and the high water bilge alarm switch. I put the auxiliary switch half an inch above the high water alarm switch so it would go off first.

In the past some of you had asked about our engine so here she is. It's a 160HP Yanmar 4LHA-HTP...

I finished the re-finish of the step leading down from the main salon to the forward hallway!

Burgers on the boat tonight

Installed a new old table in the cockpit today. Might engineer a way for it to flip up or possibly be removed but right now I'll just enjoy it as is!
