Big cats are undeniably dangerous, amazing wildlife, but you gotta love that they still do cat stuff. These two are sitting side by side in the last patches of light before sunset. I don't know how many times our house cats did this when I was a kid! Still, I can't imagine ever treating these wild animals anything like a pet. I can't describe the feeling of seeing these intense eyes staring right at me. It really made me pause to think about how tigers are so powerful, dangerous, and mysterious. I've always loved documentaries and education since I was a kid. I would read books about big cats during my free time. I knew they were unique and amazing but until this moment I didn't fully appreciate the absolute gravity of a living being like this. It breaks my heart to know they are disappearing from... the wild. Have you ever seen a tiger up close? Did it change your prescription of the species?
