Portraits with this sweet girl named Castin. <3 More to come on the blog later, but for now it's almost midnight and my baby is asleep which means I need to go get some rest before she's up for a feeding. ;) This new mom life has me working odd hours, but I wouldn't have it any way. And I still get to work on JOY-filled images with JOY-filled people like this girl!

Goodness, how has it been so long since I've posted? Happy FIRST DAY OF SPRING, y'all!!! Officially entering my favorite season, for so many reasons. You may have heard, seen, or been effected by the crazy #superbloom or what many people are calling the #poppyapocolypse. It's caused a bit of a phenomenon in our nearby town Lake Elsinore, enough to make headline news and bring tourists in from all over the country (yes even as far as Colorado)! There's something to be said... for the beauty that all of our recent rain has brought forth. Who knew such possibilities were laying dormant in the soil, just waiting to be watered and brought to life?! Anyway, I haven't made it to the poppy fields yet mainly because of how overcrowded it's been, but we did this shoot at another nearby gorgeous location with these purple blooms. Happy birthday to this pretty lady! We had a blast creating this shoot at the beautiful Peltzer Winery. I was devastated to accidentally lose nearly all of the photos from this session before I could finish editing. Ugh, a photographer's nightmare and a rookie mistake.
