We are working on raising money to purchase yard signs to celebrate our 8th graders who are graduating this summer. We have a quote for approximately $4.10 a sign and we have just under 210 students. If you would like to participate please join our FB group for further details or send me a private message. Our goal is to raise enough for all of our students, so no student is left out Please note this is an 8th grade parent sponsored event. Here, we created the Winter Concert checklist for our music families! Make sure to check it twice and change to to stay on the nice list . It's CMS Winter Concert time! Our Silent Auction at the Winter Concerts on Weds/Thurs will feature items and activities from the following stores, restaurants, and attractions. Please remember to bring your checkbook, cash or credit card to bid on some amazing prizes!! All money raised will go directly to support the CMS Instrumental music program!

For this holiday season, the CMS Band & Orch Boosters would like to thank you for your generous support towards the entire Moorpark music program. The MHS Tree Lot fundraiser is still open with their gorgeous trees at the parking lot located near the Grocery Outlet. The Boosters will be holding a Silent Auction so bring along a credit card or your checkbook. They will also be accepting donations at the door and at a bake sale. The Winter Concerts are coming up for the CMS Bands and Orchestras! Following are details for each: Band Concert Wednesday Dec. 18, 7pm at the Moorpark HS Performing Arts Center... Call time for students is 6:30 for check in and warm up Orchestra (and Jazz Band) Concert Thursday Dec. 19, 7pm at the Moorpark HS Performing Arts Center Call time for students is 6:30 for check in and warm up Concert Dress (6 Graders): CMS Band/Orchestra T Shirt, Black Pants, Black Socks, Black Shoes Concert Dress (7th/8th Graders): Black Long Sleeve Button Up Shirt, Black Dress Pants, Black Socks, Black Shoes. Girls can wear long black dresses. Since this is a festive season concert, white button up long sleeve shirts with festive accents (red/green ties or bowties, etc.) or Santa hats (or similar) are allowed.
