Los Angeles County is allowing swimming pools and spas to open up at multi-unit residences -- with strict requirements about social distancing. The Association is consulting with its attorneys about the specific requirements needed. All owners will receive an email blast when the pools and spas are opened with all the new rules and restrictions required, so stay tuned.

Here's a quick reference for what is open and what is closed in LA County under the "Safer at Home" orders. Remember that the pools, spas and gym at Chandler Park Village are closed until the orders are lifted.

Here's an update state Senate Majority Leader Robert Hertzberg has sent out: https://sd18.senate.ca.gov//20200326_SD18_information_889.. The mayor is warning that the "Safer at Home" orders might last until May. It also information about the Federal relief bill, enhanced unemployment benefits and an announcement from the governor about a 90-day mortgage relief program, among other topics.

State Sen. Bob Hertzberg has sent out an email with a lot of valuable information the "Stay at Home" orders and services available to deal with the impact of those orders. The letter mentions that a number of Valley grocery stores have set special hours for seniors: ALBERTSON'S: Senior shopping from 7 to 9 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ... GELSON'S: Senior shopping daily from 7 to 8 am. Make sure you bring your identification. TARGET: Senior shopping on Wednesdays from 8 to 9 am (all locations). Mission Hills and Burbank locations open at 7 am. VALLARTA MARKETS: Senior shopping is from 7 to 8 am for shoppers 65 and older, pregnant women and those with disabilities. VONS: Senior shopping from 7 to 9 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. WHOLE FOODS MARKET: Senior shopping is from 7 to 8 am for customers 60 years and older to shop one hour before opening to the public.

Due to concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus and increasing city and local organizations' restrictions on gatherings, the Chandler Park Village board meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. The board will deal with emergency business via telephone. Minutes will be taken and will be available within 30 days on request to our property management company.
