Congrats to our girls on their final competition of the year - KSIS Online World Tournament Level 9 juniors are getting there with scores of 15.0-17.5 for their routines and even with mistakes getting 13 points! Level 10 Katherine - getting 17-18 points with mistakes and after an injury Level 7 and younger are competing by international rules and are still getting decent point and places Overall girls are improving and looking great! Blessed and thankful to be able to hold a competition during this time - our online Thanksgiving Invitational was a success Two weeks ago we really had no clue how it was all going to go We knew what we wanted and prepared the best we could but still...we couldn’t envision it! We have never done an online event like so we were nervous Through all the technical difficulties, stress and errors we learned a lot and amazed at how well it all turned out Thank you to all the participants, coaches, parents and of course judges (for judging live for 30+ hours over 3 days) and to everyone who supported and helped us! What a great experience new technologies allow! Pandemic hasn’t been easy for anyone but there are some cool things for sure...like competing internationally online Some cool things are: 1. We are able to compete with countries we normally wouldn’t easily compete against. 2. We get to see other gymnasts and know what’s going on in the world, where we stand in comparison to them and even though virtually we kind of get to know them. 3. We can watch ourselves compete and se...e our mistakes which is a great practice too! Excited for more experiences like this Whether it’s a live online event or via video submission there are befits you each!
