Did you know The Open is just around the corner? You might be thinking We are in a pandemic. How is this possible? We will be participating in The Open this year but will follow the same protocol as we do nowphysical distanced and anyone who is judging/counting will be required to wear a mask. Yes, it will look different from prior years, but we want to have fun and also be safe at the same time. You can also do The Open at home! Wait...what?! ... There will be an Equipment Option and an Equipment-Free Option this year. Crossfit is being flexible this year as there are many gyms like us who cannot operate indoors. After a 25 min AMRAP, we had the pleasure of doing a Spooky Mystery Cookie. We had no idea what this cookie was until the very end of class. You can say it was a cherry on top after the WOD. The mystery was a Tabata of movementspush ups, squats, deadlift, and ground to shoulder. The twist? With an odd object. In order to attend these classes, you must pass the Trial by Fire test. ... This class is designed to help athletes at the higher levels of our sport. Programming focuses on elements that generally occur in competition, while at the same time providing a balanced base to be ready for anything. Since it is an advanced class, members must test in by passing the ‘Trial by Fire’ WOD with the prescribed weights under the time limit to participate. Using our most advanced and progressive training methods available, the acceleration of your skills & rewards are incredible. We always want our members to lift safely but also have a peace of mind during this pandemic. When you train at our facility, you can expect the following: Temperature check... Masks are required when entering the facility, getting your weights, and putting away equipment. You are not required to wear a mask during your workout Physical distancing We provide your own bucket of cleaning supplies which include a clean towel and a disinfectant spray Must clean all equipment used after a workout Class sizes restricted to maximum of 10 people to allow for physical distancing Train outdoors only until LA County says it’s okay to go back inside Hand sanitizer always available An hour of fun and self-care We have adhered to the LA County guidelines since the beginning and will continue to follow their instructions for your safety.
