Today we remember those whose lives were lost in the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. And we mourn with those whose hearts were left to grieve the loss of loved ones. We are reminded to thank the first responders who sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for the safety of our nation. Let’s continue to PRAY for our world as we honor those affected by this tragic event.... We will never forget.

We are called to be a LIGHT to those around us. That means we should be some of the most hope-filled people in our neighborhoods. Would your friends, family and/or neighbors describe you as hopeful?? Remember what we learned in our Anchored series. True hope is not just a positive outlook. We find true hope in God. And we’re called to share that hope with other people.

Our hope, REAL hope, comes from God. ALL of God's amazing attributes are available to us (love, joy, peace, patience, etc.) ...if we just trust and lean into Him. During this series, we’ve been talking about handing our worries and burdens over to God and how we’re able to do that because His burden is light; God is NEVER low on energy. (Matthew 11:28-30).
