Mt. Hermon needs our help! The devastating fires in the Santa Cruz Mountains have caused the loss of homes to roughly 920 families in the surrounding area. Mt. Hermon has generously offered their cabins to those families as a place to stay while they adjust and plan out what’s next for them. How YOU can help: Join our team of volunteers!! For the last 2 weekends, we have helped to create a defensible space around the cabins at Mt. Hermon. JOIN US for our last weekend of clean... up at Mt. Hermon on Saturday or Sunday for a shift from 8am-12pm OR from 10am-2pm! Please let us know you’re joining by registering at cornerstoneweb.org/outreach so we can avoid beach traffic. This weekend we're saying goodbye to an incredible Cornerstone Danville family, the Delgados, who are moving out of state. We will miss you guys so much. There's no way that we could let you leave without you hearing how grateful we are for all you've meant to our campus. Stephanie, Thank you for giving so much time and energy to our Kids ministry. Your heart to help kids take their next step with Jesus is awesome. Thank you for being so faithful and consistent with our littl...e ones. Matthew, Thank you for serving on our Security Team. We so appreciate all the hours that you served our church family in this behind the scenes role. And Delgado girls, thank you for loving our kids on Sunday mornings. We know our kids looked up to you and we value all the ways you impacted them over the years. And Keanu, you married a great one in Patricia! We're going to miss you guys! Let's be sure to send them off today PRAYING for them on this new adventure!

Today we remember those whose lives were lost in the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. And we mourn with those whose hearts were left to grieve the loss of loved ones. We are reminded to thank the first responders who sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for the safety of our nation. Let’s continue to PRAY for our world as we honor those affected by this tragic event. We will never forget.
