Aug 20th, 1962 11/11/2020 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend a true leader and business partner Gregory Ludwick. Greg was a light in this world and made a major impact and difference in the lives of many others & our company and now we need to continue shining his light by carrying it within us in our own lives. The world lost a wonderful person last week, and we will never be the same without Greg in our lives. We can only hope to keep ...Greg’s memory alive and would love your help in doing this. San Diego, California Greg Ludwick started his career working for the telephone company in corporate America to quickly to find out its limitations and lack of real opportunity and security Through a mutual friend, he was able to move into the financial services field helping public school employees with retirement plans and benefits for more freedom and better income opportunity. Greg leveraged that experience into agency building and leadership. He built a group of four brick and mortar locations in Southern California from San Diego to Camarillo, CA. Within a few years, he grew client services offerings by adding mortgage banking products for distribution by hiring in-house mortgage specialists to work directly with existing in-house financial services reps and clients. After the successful integration of the two distinct fields, Greg created, implemented and lead a joint venture with a significant existing banking concern. Working with the banks Sr. Executives Greg and his team built out a financial services distribution group within the bank’s network of 144 locations in 8 western states with a field force approximately 1400 strong. After having seen the basics of the Virtual Financial model in its developmental stages through existing business friend and VF Co-Founders Mike Hinsvark and Chris Delfino Greg was very intrigued. After the relationship with Transamerica and Virtual Financial was forged Greg engaged with the company, the model and the unique opportunity to lead the financial services industry into the modern era of online-based business.
