Tomorrow at 2pm, we will be hosting a virtual Farewell Program for the Udagawa family as they prepare to return to Japan next month. Over the years, the Udagawa family has been a very important part of our churches by helping in many of our different ministries. This weekend would have been filled with the busyness of our annual CJACC MOCHITSUKI event! If you close your eyes, can you almost smell the natto, daikon oroshi, and fried mochi wafting through the air? Can you see the white, powdered handprints on EVERYTHING!? We can. We miss it so much. Thanks to the happy little church elves who packaged the mochi rice, kinako powder, and mailed/delivered these little bundles to our CJACC friends and family! We miss you all too! We hope that this year brings us back together!

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since we posted anything, but we couldn’t let Keiro No Hi pass by without any recognition. Keiro No Hi falls on September 21 and is a day to honor our senior members and all that they have done for those around them. Usually, our church hosts a social event to celebrate Keiro No Hi. However, due to COVID 19 and the desire to keep our church members safe, we did not have opportunity to have a social. But we still wanted to do something for our... senior church members to recognize them and let them know how much we love them, so our social committee created this gift to send out! It is such a blessing that we can still connect with our church family and celebrate the big and little moments together. We want to thank the social committee for putting this together and all of the families that participated! We continue to pray for everyone’s health and safely and hope that we are able to worship together again soon! See more
