Hello Investor Members, Due to all the recent event, we’ll be putting the monthly REIA meetings on hold. Venues are canceling meetings and therefore we’ll be unable to meet at our regular spot. I will however, do a few videos giving tips on real estate investing and addressing how we can poise ourselves to be successful in the current environment we are in. Stay tuned and I’ll be inform you when the videos are about to be posted. Have a great day everyone and stay safe and healthy.
This should also apply to Banks that have been sitting on their REO inventory.
We are going to be changing venues with our meetings going forward. If you're on our email list, stay tuned.
Come join us for the REIA's 10 Year Anniversary. We will have some action packed information to share with you along with some market updates and changes to California law will have gone into affect that we will need to be aware of. We'll send a follow up email when speakers are secured. I want to thank everyone for their support over the last 10 years. We are happy to see several of you flip houses, wholesale deals and do what you were suppose to do to become successful in t...his business. We strive to continue the growth, the education and of course your overall wealth in the great vehicle we call Real Estate. Welcome to 2020 everyone. Did we think this year would ever come? Well, here we are and the real estate market is going great. However, there are some laws that California has passed and looking to pass that can affect all of us. Last Oct, AB1482 passed and it affects everyone who has rentals. AB1482 was a detailed bill in the California Assembly that had been amended in some parts that had to do with rent control, just cause and other issues Landlords face with tenants. We will discuss some of these issues and how it affects our business. Also, Prop 13 is under attack. If you don't know what Prop 13 is, this will be of interest to you. This has to do with property taxes and some in the California Legislator feel that repealing Prop 13 will raise revenue for the State at our expense. Pay attention to this!!! Of course, as we always do, we will talk about deals you have, have done, or may need help with. 2019 was an awesome year for me personally, but we want to hear about your successes and goals for this year. See you all this Thursday Jan, 23rd Meeting Cost is $20 per business limited to 2 people. Food and Drink is available from the Spyglass Restaurant menu. Networking begins at 6:30PM. See you all there.
Next REIA meeting will be Oct 24th. No meeting this month because I am in LA on Realtor business.
Happening tonight!! Hello Everyone, This months meeting will be on August 29th at the Spyglass Restaurant. This month we are featuring a local lender from PB & Associates, Sandra Farias. Sanda has been in the Lending business for several years now and specializes in Investor Lending. There are some amazing new products available to investors that she will discuss in detail. One of them is a Bank deposit loan. This means, the bank will lend based on regular monthly deposi...ts which can be a great benefit to those of you who are self-employed. This is just one of the loans she'll be talking about with us on Thursday. Cost to attend is $20 per business limited to 2 people. Food and Drinks are available to order at a separate cost. Meeting starts at 6:30pm for networking and then 7:00pm the sit down meeting starts.
