My Diabetes Tutor Inc. is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our diabetes education telehealth services! On February 19, 2020 we received our accreditation from the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). We are the first diabetes telehealth organization in California to receive AADE accreditation. Our goal is to provide individuals with diabetes increased access to high quality diabetes education services. Diabetes education is a collaborative process wher...eby people at risk for diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. Our program is comprehensive and taught by certified diabetes educators who have extensive training. We focus on preventative medicine and health promotion, aiming to minimize the difficulties of diabetes and its comorbidities. My Diabetes Tutor exists to make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes. We believe that with appropriate education, people living with diabetes can learn to manage their diabetes which could prevent complications. What is Diabetes Education?
