Cancer is among the leading causes of death worldwide, and as rates rise even higher, scientists, health professionals and advocates are increasingly pointing to environmental causes. These exposures are often disproportionately high in Black, Brown, Indigenous and low income communities. A healthier future, one without cancer-causing chemicals in our environment, is possible.
