We tell kids to count to ten when they get upset because the opportunity to stop and think changes their behavior. A child who counts to 10 when angry is unlikely to throw a block at his playmate. Guess what? Counting to 10 works for adults too. Try it the next time a food craving hits.

A positive body image is not something you develop by losing weight, it is something that must develop in order to fix eating problems and find your healthy we...ight. Thanks to all of you who attended the Embrace movie this week! The number one question we received since the show is, How do I learn to love my body? We have answers: REGISTER for our FREE, WEBINAR: Saturday, October 1 at 10am PT. Topic: How Body Image Effects Hunger, Food Cravings & Weight - https://zoom.us/m/register/70220d1d8bcc27ec34538d7d4481ef37. There is an important link between how you perceive your body and how much you eat, what you eat, how much weight you will store and how energetic you will feel. Science supports this link and we’re going to lay it out for you. If you can’t attend, sign up anyway, and we’ll send you a recorded version. SIGN UP for HEAL THE HUNGRY BRAINTM - http://centerforeatingrecovery.com/heal-page/, a coaching program that will teach you how to develop a positive body image while fixing eating problems such as yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, binge eating and food addiction. Sessions are offered online and in-person at the Center for Eating Recovery as well as privately and in a group format. Major thanks to the women who made the movie screenings a success!
