The Center Center Children's Chorus wishes everyone a Happy New Year and all the best for 2021. We hope music is a part of your lives, uplifting and hopeful during these times. Looking forward to being able to join our voices in song again as soon as it is safe. Everyone take care!

Thinking today about how privileged I have been to work with The Center Childrens Chorus for the past 7 years and am missing them as we deal with the Covid virus of 2020. We will not begin our season of making music this year in order to help stop the spread of the virus and keep our singers and families safe. We hope interested singers and supporters will keep checking with us as we wait for the go ahead when we can safely gather to sing and learn music skills. In the meantime keep the Arts in your hearts and minds. Ms. Dana

Hello Chorus and Parents, We hope you have saved the date and time for our Zoom Meeting tomorrow, Tues. May 26th, at 4:00 PM. We have some fun activities planned but, best of all, we get to see all of the shinning faces of our singers. Please print out the attached Bingo Card and look for something round or square (cheerios, tiddly winks, dice, raisins) to use for markers or just have a pencil. Also, we will be looking for something around the house that can be used to make a... sound on as a rhythm instrument. No need to download Zoom. Just click on the link. Hello to The Center Children's Chorus from your music teachers. We miss you and hope you are well. Life without singing together is very different, but I hope you are singing with your families because music makes the world a better place and the day go faster too. Remember that any doing any task with a song makes it better. I think Mary Poppins said something like that or maybe that was a spoonful of sugar. Well, that too. Hope we can get together soon if only over Zoom. More on that to come!

So sad that we had to cancel this Saturday’s, March 14th concert at the Rancho Bernardo Library. Based on the situation regarding the Covid19 Novel Coronavirus, we feel that it is the responsible thing to do in order to protect the health and safety of families and the public. Our singers have been working hard to prepare the music for this concert and have done a great job. They are enthusiastic, excited, and musically ready so it is sad to cancel, but we have plans to perform in May at the Escondido Library where we can share this music if the situation is improved. We will also cancel our chorus rehearsals for the next two weeks and then evaluate. Thank you to all who support The Center Children's Chorus.

A good time was had by all at the Museum of Making Music tour and concert by The Center Children's Chorus last week and the Arioso recording session of a new piece by Russ Jennings called What a Ride! Music is a part of our lives everyday. How fantastic is that!

The Center Children's Chorus is excited to record with Ruth and Emilia on there new CD Album coming out in January. Tomorrow is the day to put those headphones on and sing in a professional recording studio as we learn how it is done. Thank you Ruth and Emilia for providing us this opportunity!

The Moon Landing Chorus did a fantastic musical job at the Moon Landing Celebration concert on July 20th. Thank you to all the parents and families who helped with rehearsals and think music is important for their children. Hope to see them and lots more sign up for the new chorus season beginning on Sept 9th! Happy summer and don't forget to keep singing!

Can't wait for the Moon Chorus singers to join the 85 adults and full orchestra for rehearsal tonight at CCAE. Preparation for our concert on July 20th is such fun! 6:45 call time.
