With yesterdays news of Riverside County moving back into the Purple tier, and therefore places of worship not being allowed to be open, some may be wondering what that means for CR, as we were suppose to be opening back up this week. Well we have some wonderful news -- CR will still be opening this Friday!!! CR UNDER THE STARS!... We will be setting up in the parking lot at the East Campus. We will adapt to these changes as best as we can so that we can meet in person once and for all!

It’s also a good time for collect a New Comer Chip if you’re new to recovery or if you have something you’re wanting to work on in 2021. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

TOMORROW, we are still taking any donations of sweaters for Operation Warmth. Make sure to stop at our east campus and drop off any slightly used sweaters and jackets to give to the homeless here in the valley. We’ll be accepting donations at our INDIO CAMPUS from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.

Happy Christmas Eve forever family, with Christmas landing on Friday we will not be having CR this week. We hope you enjoy Christmas with family and loved ones. We will see you next year on 01/01/21. Remember this time of the year can be hard for many of us in recovery. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always here for you!!!

Let’s be honest about 2020, it was a ROUGH year for most everyone. There was the stress of COVID hanging over everyone’s heads. Will I get it, will my family get it, is my job going to shut down, how are my kids going to do school and have a social life. How am I going to have a social life? We all have had to make sacrifices, but we have also had to have a larger shield of faith than the imposing fear facing us. There have been upticks in drug and alcohol abuse, suicides, de...pression, overeating, codependency, anger and emotions we just don’t know what they are. Friends, that is where Celebrate Recovery comes into play. Celebrate Recovery is a place you can come and have a place to talk about everything that is going on in life as a whole. Plainly put, Celebrate Recovery is not where you come to just deal with addiction, but a place where you can come and get right with yourself and others in your life. We are a judgment free zone, we have been there before. Starting Friday, January 1st we will be starting from Lesson 1 - Denial. We invite you to come and check it out, give it a try for a month. Attend our Newcomers Meeting on January 8th and learn all about what we are and who we are. We look forward to seeing you at the East Campus on Friday nights at 7pm.
