This is my feline son Brody. I met him when he was 4 years old. When he came to live with me, he was frightened. He hung out under my bed all the time. Next mo...nth he and I will have a year together and he follows me everywhere. In fact, my canine son is going back for a refresher training course because he’s so upset that his Mom has another son. Sorry son, momma has no favorites and Brody gets most improved player of the year. Brody reminds me that I am lovable and that I can stick around and that I can make a relationship better with kindness, dedication, and patience. I love you Brody Boaz Vásquez

A customer asked me how much I would charge to paint his two story foyer. My reply: $1500 His reply: WOW, just to paint a couple walls? Why so much? My reply: Well, this estimate also includes for the non productive factors. He questioned: What is nonproductive factors?"... My reply: Just the usually things like taxes, insurance, rent, fuel etc, etc. I asked: How much do you think it should cost? He responded matter-of-factly: Around $800 at the most... It's just painting and a fairly simple job right? I calmly said: Okay sir, for $800 I invite you to do it yourself. He said: But.... I don't know how to. I replied: Okay, for $800 I'll teach you. So besides saving you $700, you'll get the knowledge for the next time. It seemed right to him and he agreed. I continued: To get started you will need tools, drops, ladders, scaffolds, brushes, poles etc... He said: But I don't have all this type of equipment and I can't afford to buy all of these things just to paint my foyer. I offered: Okay then, for an additional $200 I'll rent my equipment to you. Okay, he says. I replied: So on Tuesday I will be available to start teaching you. He said: But I can't on Tuesday I only have time today. I said: I'm sorry sir, but Tuesday is the only day this week that I will be available to teach and rent you my equipment. The rest of the week is already scheduled for other customers. He exclaimed frustated: Damn! That means I gotta rearrange my schedule and sacrifice my whole Tuesday?! I said: That is correct sir! I will also provide you with a list of all the materials you will need to go to the store and purchase for this job. Also, loading of the van for your job will take place Tuesday morning around 6am. After the project is complete, all equipment and tools need to be cleaned and reloaded back onto the van. He asked in disbelief: At 6am??? Nope! Way too early for me! So much work just to do a little bit of painting! You know what, I've been doing some serious thinking and I've decided that it would be best if you just went ahead and did the job for me. $1500 seems fair now and I'd rather it be done right by true professionals. The moral of the story for any buyer: When you hire a professional to do a job, you're not only paying for the labor and material being used. It also includes: Knowledge Experience Tools Services Punctuality Accountability Professionalism Accuracy Guarantee Sacrifices Safety and security No one can denigrate other people's work by judging prices. Only by knowing all the elements necessary to complete a certain project can you estimate the true cost. Copy and Share this everywhere to support craftsmen and entrepreneurs of all types. See more

Another beautiful story in the making! We met for the first time at the first showing and immediately, she thanked me for being so nice. I said, aren’t other r...ealtors nice as well? She said, well I guess, but you’re really nice! Wow, I thought to myself, I better be on my best behavior with this client! She had gone online to obtain her own financing as most savvy buyers do. Over time as she realized she could trust me, I was able to advise her of various opportunities. She accepted my offer to talk to one of my preferred lenders and he was able to increase her purchase price by $75,000! She also decided that I would be her agent! It is very competitive, especially when you are meeting people for the very first time at the first showing. I am so blessed to have had the guidance and mentorship from all who have helped me to get to this point in my career. My brother knows that many times I wondered if I was going to make it. I just keep getting up everyday! Congratulations to Beatriz and her beautiful family! More on this story as time progresses. I look forward to working with Kerry Goetz and Team of Old Republic Title Company and Danny Grubb and Team of Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

Well, we finally did it! It all came from a phone call to see a place. Weeks later, I have two new friends who have strengthened my faith in the Lord! This is quite a story! I am elated that I had the opportunity to play a small role in their God story! I think I will have a video made of them telling the story and post it! My words could just not do enough justice. Now to the players involved in this miracle of a transaction; Stephanie Ngirmang, the real MVP, Team Kutka of ...Chicago Title Company, Adriana Anguiano of Alameda Mortgage Company, Brian Mosby, the amazing and handiest of handy ones, Vladimir of AEA Cleaning Services, Lindsey of Well Done Moving, Kathy Kimbler of Kimbler Home Inspections, Mister Sprayman, and Melvin for painting! What a beautiful time it was. Oh what a journey this has been! Worth every drop of sweat, blood, and tears. Willie and Mamie, thank you for allowing me to be your realtor of choice and I am here for you for life! Love, Cecly

On the toughest days of my life, my dog son is always nearby. His brother, Brody, loves me too, he just stays under the bed. They are both protectors and both male. I love my boys. I guess it wasn’t in the cards to have human children. It’s okay, I’m grateful and content. I will soak in all that I can. ... I missed my daddy this morning. Sam and I grabbed a Starbucks and went to see Grandpa Daniel.

Just wanted to share that my beautiful Mom took a few hours off and cut my toe nails, brushed my teeth, shampooed me, dried me, combed me, treated my water and I got peanut butter for being a good boy and not fighting with my brother Brody, he is a cat. He moved in with us in February and I have been a good boy. My Mother raised a good man. P.S. please don't judge my Mom for the type of collar I have had since I was a pup. I was trained by a personal trainer and he told my Mom that if she wanted to have a back and a neck while having me, she needed to have control. I am used to it, please don't judge my Mom. Love, Sam

A call came in on August 25, 2020. I could hear the frustration and curiosity in his voice This gentleman wanted to know more about a property he viewed online ...We talked for a bit and I told him I was ready to go to work for him and his wife We talked sporadically for the next few days Soon, I would let him know that I found something that fit within their budget and we should act quickly due to the speed of this competitive market We did, we met at the property in person for the first time. We looked at it and realized it required more work than they wanted to do I reassured them that it would be a dream with some effort. They decided to move forward! After several days of waiting for a response, we finally got the opportunity today and the buyers signed to agree to the purchase The most exciting part is that this couple had a realtor already. They decided that after talking with me a few times and seeing how quickly I responded and my level of care, it was time to break-up with their agent and allow me the privilege to work on their behalf I am excited about what is to come!

This was a challenging yet delightful experience. I was able to negotiate $9,900 off the already reduced purchase price. We were also able to obtain over $6,000... in credits so the buyers could make improvements Although the process of real estate can be a difficult and stressful one, it is always worth it at the end of the day I am grateful to work with the nicest and most talented people. Thank you to Loan Officer, Paul Salazar of Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Escrow Officer, Shawn Miller of Old Republic Title, Listing Agent, Lance Greenwood of Signature Properties Special thanks to Mike Byas for the pool inspection, Praytor & Sons Plumbing for the sewer line inspection All the other people involved, thank you and I am grateful for you! So exciting for this young couple

Last week my new client Roman called me from Monterey, CA He said he wanted to buy a condo here. I said, wait, are you moving from the central coast to the Cen...tral Valley? He chuckled and said, no, I want to buy an investment property. Okkkkaaayyyy, now I will agree to help you! I went out the next day and called him using FaceTime on our iPhones to complete a virtual tour for him. After seeing it, he decided he wanted to submit an offer and he got his financing in place. Roman is a Veteran of this beautiful country so I especially wanted to do whatever I could to help. Last weekend he called me and said he was driving around in Fresno and he found some more. I said okay, tell me which one to write and submit for. He chose one that happened to be owned by one of my dear friends. We wrote it up, my friend called me, thanked me, and here we go! The beautiful part of this story is that he received an outstanding interest rate and the tenant will get to remain in possession and she gets a new landlord. Have you thought about investing lately? We have great opportunities in our area. Let me know if you are interested in learning more. Love Always, Cecly
