Cdaquarium.com is excited to share the pictures of this large and elegant rimless tank that we worked on earlier this year. This is a big one, 74x34x24, made with 3/4" Optiwhite glass. The Modular Marine overflow was executed half-and-half in black and white to match the white Starboard and white outside back panel color. The stand is our new design, the Brighton. It will normally have a center leg and 2 sets of doors on the front, but in this case the client's design required a front-facing electric panel, 3 doors and a removable leg in the front to get the sump through. A recent build for an experienced aquarium maintenance professional who wanted some special features. First task was to minimize the overflow, so we used a hybrid glass/acrylic overflow with removable weir. Removing the weir allows to fit plumbing under the eurobrace more easily. Second task was to make sure Radion mounts can clip onto the glass like a rimless tank. So we waterjetted some slots in the eurobrace to fit those. Thank you Ian for bringing new ideas to the table, and for testing them out with us!
