The impact of our work is best understood in the words of those we have helped, staff, and volunteers. Brigitte shares her story of how she went from being an active community partner and ally to needing help from Catholic Charities. We invite you to share this post with your family, friends, and colleagues, so they may join us as we work together to expand the circle of support for our mission and work.... ccsbriv.org/helphope

"It's time to care about others." The impact of our work is best understood in the words of those we have helped, staff, and volunteers. Please watch as Kermit, a regular and cherished volunteer, talks about how now, more than ever, the community needs Catholic Charities.... We invite you to share this with your family, friends, and colleagues, so they may join us as we work together to expand the circle of support for our mission and work. https://youtu.be/ISjRrC5WtVw
This holiday season, we ask that you pause a moment and think of the most vulnerable and in need of HELP & HOPE during a pandemic. Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity for you to provide HELP & HOPE by supporting our Annual Fall Giving Campaign. Thank you for your support! www.ccsbriv.org
Our thanks to the Light of Jesus - Inland Empire of Sacred Heart Church in Rancho Cucamonga for their generosity and kindness toward the homeless in San Bernardino on Sunday! In addition to volunteering to help with our Neighbor2Neighbor Homeless Hospitality Program, they handed out cloth draw-string bags for all of our homeless guests that included a beanie, mittens, socks, a handkerchief, and personal hygiene items. Thank you!!

Over 10 years ago, staff created The Family Tragedy Assistance Fund to relieve the extreme stress for families confronted by a personal tragedy in the face of already dealing with the harsh realities of poverty. Our burial assistance is supported 100% by donor donations. To learn more visit ccsbriv.org

With strict protective measures and protocols in place since March, our staff has placed dozens of homeless persons in motel shelters, prevented numerous evictions and foreclosures, avoided utility shut-offs, ramped up our various food distribution programs, engaged in homeless outreach services, delivered groceries to isolated seniors, and provided burial assistance for many families that lost a loved one during this time. Go to ccsbriv.org/coronavirus to learn more or donate to our COVID-19 Relief & Response Fund and help us continue to provide direct aid to children, adults, and seniors impacted by the spread of COVID-19.
