Attention CCHS Art Students: Art Materials packets are ready!!! Please pick up your supply packets in the Front Office by Friday, September 11.
There are many more amazing artists to feature on this list! Let's make this list longer by commenting with an artist to bring back to the classroom for a more inclusive curriculum. Grab this resource here: https://hubs.ly/H0r1__60

On Wednesday, we would have had our Annual Spring Student Art Show to showcase some of the best pieces that students had completed throughout the school year. While I am sad that we could not hold a reception in our gallery to honor the students, we have been able to still hold an art show, just in a different space. Our Annual Spring Student Art Show has gone digital! Students were asked to upload their favorite pieces they created either from previous projects or new proj...ects completed through distance learning. I have uploaded the student submissions to Padlet (which I came across through my research in troubleshooting how to hold an art show during quarantine). With 117 artworks uploaded, the show is ready to go! Please visit https://padlet.com/cchsart/artshow2020 to see the show and vote on your favorites! Prizes will be awarded for various categories (in the form of gift cards to students) and voting will close on Sunday May 24th. Thank you for your support of all of the art students' hard work this entire year!
Monster Challenge! Create your own coffee spill monster inspired by @thecoffeemonsters as featured in My Modern Met's online article. Students: Create your own monster from coffee, tea, colored soda, watercolor, ink, or even dirt mixed with water! Create a "spill" then add details to make your monster! Tag @centralcatholic_art in a posted photo for bonus points! (You must be following the account for me to see your tag!)
