As long as you are alive, you need Church. Being a Christian is not something you can do solo, we need the love, support and encouragement of each other. If you are a Christian, we are all walking the same direction. Sometimes you'll need to give me a push, sometimes I'll give you a hand up. No matter what, we need each other. This Sunday we'll be continuing in our brief series "Resto-Mod Your Life" as we talk about prayer. Ummm, maybe we need to pray about prayer? Maybe we should just pray! A week doesn't go by that I see Church/Fellowship/Worshipping the Lord together, as one of the most important things in life. It's as if whatever the world steals from me during the week I get back, and more, when I fully turn my attention to the Lord in concert with others doing the same thing. Dealing with another death in the family is yet another reminder of the brevity and uncertainty of this life. There is the need to organize my life so that those left behind are not b...urdened with cleaning up whatever mess I leave behind. But above all is the need to make the most of whatever time we do have here on Earth. With all that, and more, in mind, I'm going to Church tomorrow morning. I'll practice good protocols to protect myself and others, but I'm going to Church. You are welcome to join in. The front door remains unlocked. I just got home from spending time with my family after the sudden death of my brother in law. As a result I have had no time to prepare for Bible study tonight. My apologies. I don't like skipping a study, but circumstances dictated something different. We'll get back to it next Thursday, Lord willing! Thanks for understanding, thanks for the prayers.
