News from our missionaries: CALVARY CHAPEL GUATEMALA CITY WE KEEP MOVING FORWARD Dear brothers and sisters,... Again we greet you with much affection wishing that you are very well, and asking God to guide you in everything. In the December 2019 newsletter we shared a photo of our new location. At this time we‘d like to show you that we already have the mezzanine (balcony) that the owner promised to build. Currently it is a place to store the church’s belongings. We plan to build a wall later to take advantage of this space. We thank God because He is faithful at all times and we can see His hand in our lives and in His work. Page 2 Photo 1 - Time of fasting, prayer and fellowship Page 2 Photo 2 - In this photo you can see the structure of the mezzanine CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Calvary Chapel Guatemala City Children's Ministry continues to grow in number. That's a blessing and a great responsibility. We ask for your prayers so that we can be excellent in everything we do. Currently we do not have a special separate room for them. We use the surrounding outside area of the cellar (basement) for the classes. Our wish is that God would also help us provide them with a special place for their activities. Meanwhile we know that they enjoy their classes in simplicity. We also ask for your prayers that God would raise up leaders who love for this ministry. Currently Lili and Amanda are in charge of it, however they are also involved in a few other ministries such as women, youth and music. PRAYER REQUESTS: - For Eli's work, may God guide him, provide, and give him wisdom in everything. - May God give us wisdom and guidance as we schedule church activities. - For people in attendance to have an encounter with God. - For the families of the church, that God would strengthen them, that they’d be more committed to Him. - For Lili's family in Venezuela. They are living in a difficult situation, for God to provide everything they need. - Church children's ministry workers Revelation 1:5-6 (NKJV) Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
