Thank you to Team 10 of Year Up Bay Area from Diablo Valley College for their huge box of donations for our shelter animals! They set up a donation drive during the holidays and even used donated money to buy new items. Thank you!!!!! <3

Lucy is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met. She's never met a human who isn't her friend. Our Running Dog Team has taken her on a couple of adventures outside the shelter and we were told she was an awesome companion. During her outing she checked in often with her handler, walked well on leash, sat for treats, and did well in the car. She has a couple of cute videos on her pet profile that show how easy she is to leash up and how she gets excited when you tell her she's going on a walk - check them out! Danica is a 2-year-old kitty with the softest fur and the cutest white tuft on the tip of her tail. She loves pets and loves to meet new people. We aren't sure how she is around other cats yet. One of our amazing kennel techs made our kitty residents frozen cat treats! She used a can of tuna, some wet food and they were a hit! In the pictures you can see Alvin enjoying his thoroughly.
