Last week, our graduate students in Curatorial Practice sat down with Anthony Huberman, Director and Chief Curator, and Calen Barca-Hall, Head of Installation and Exhibition Design, at the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts to discuss the conceptual and practical makings of the Cinthia Marcelle’s exhibition "A morta." These intimate gatherings with curators and administrators at institutions in the Bay Area are part of an ongoing series called The Is an Exhibition. The series is organized throughout the academic year to provide our students access to the ideas and logistics of making of exhibitions, exposing them to the complexities of the field of curating.
