Help us reach our goal this December 1, giving Tuesday. This year as Christmas approaches, we ask that you remember Catholic Charities in your holiday plans. Catholic Charities has remained on the front-line providing help for today and hope for tomorrow to the disadvantaged, regardless of race, age or religion. Together we can support those who have been impacted in one way or another-physically, socially, economically, and even spiritually by the Covid-19 pandemic and the ... unprecedented events of 2020. In one such family, 20-year-old Erik had to step into the role of man of the house this June after his father passed away from COVID. With a family of 4 children, his mother was overwhelmed, and bills began to pile up. Erik reached out to Catholic Charities for some assistance. Catholic Charities assisted with funds and other resources. He expressed a sentiment of gratitude that we have heard often in these past months: I want to thank you for helping me through this rough time my family is going through. It means a lot to my family and me, it’s not going to be easy for me, but I am really grateful for your help. I’m now going to take my Dad’s spot as the head of the household, he may be gone but his teachings will stay with me, something he taught me was to be united as a family and to always be grateful for everything and everyone around you, so I really want to thank you for everything. From willing to help, to sending prayers for my father, thank you for everything. God Bless You. We invite you to partner with us as we give a little bit of hope to others like Erik. Join Catholic Charities as we serve those who are struggling in our communities such as vulnerable seniors; homeless veterans; low income immigrants; families in need of access to health care; nutrition assistance; mental health needs; COVID CARE needs, Housing for Harvest individuals, and mentorships to first time college students. A little bit of hope goes a long way amid difficulties. Thank you in advance for partnering with us in ending a turbulent year by bringing compassion and assistance to over 20,000 individuals/families affected in our very own communities. On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, clients and volunteers of Catholic Charities we wish you a sweet and blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year in 2021. https://www.209gives.org//catholic-charities-of-the-dioces

3 programs offered by Catholic Charities during the COVID Pandemic: AGRICULTURAL FAMILIES: We just recently receive some funds from the City of Stockton to assist agricultural families who live in Stockton and has been highly impacted by the pandemic. As we are aware, a lot of agricultural families do their savings during the summer/harvest season to maintain them during the winter season and with this pandemic, it has been very challenging for them to do so. If you know of ...any agricultural family who live in STOCKTON and is currently in need of financial support, please provide them our Hotline number 209-469-1120 for us to screen them and assist them at receiving this great financial award. THEY MUST LIVE IN STOCKTON TO QUALIFY FOR THIS FINANCIAL SUPPORT. COVID CARE PROGRAM: Please feel free to continue referring individuals/families to our COVID Care Program as you had been... We have funds available from other two funders to continue assisting these families... to pay their utility bills, rent, and/or food. These funds are also available to Stanislaus County residents! Please provide them our Hotline number 209-469-1120 to call to speak with a bi-lingual representative for a no-cost assessment on whether they qualify. HARVEST PROGRAM: We continue moving along with this wonderful program, available for agriculture workers who has tested positive for COVID or where exposed to someone who tested positive and are in need of a space to isolate.
